Creating a product is one of the most common thing in todays world of ideas the most difficult part is selling the product . Right marketing is one of the most essential tools for any organization if you don't want your product to sit in your lap and die with time . Reach your target consumers ...... To reach your cosnumers you need to market your product well and maintain its value so as your consumers remain loyal . First and foremost is to  market segmentation and choose the target market before you start marketing your product .
For eg. you are marketing for an education institute and planning a strategy your target market will be students  age group below 25 years. Most of the educational institutes participate in the education fairs organized around the world and conduct different activities to lure students . Mostly they do blanket marketing , though it works but it is not cost effective . Most of the organizations follow blanket marketing which involves advertising , promotion and branding . Most of this is dependant on the market research done in a hurry with ficticious figures for a product and lack of time to isolate the target consumers .
